Fang's Wok(芳小厨) is a chinese restaurant in Plano, Texas. It is listed at 3309 Coit Rd #100, Plano, TX 75093, which places it among the local businesses of Plano that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Plano; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Texas are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9:30 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. Plano is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Plano is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This was our first time to visit, and we were very impressed with the food and service. Very clean and friendly staff! There are some really unique items, which were fun to try! We had the Dry Pot Cauliflower, with chicken added. It was outstanding! Additionally, the lo mein was not greasy at all. The Kung Pao chicken and salt and pepper chicken were all white meat and delicious! The tepanyaki beef was also really delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a go! Great food presentation as well!! We will be back!

My boyfriend and I had a great experience here. The food is very authentic and tastes like home styles without being too oily and salty. The owner and his wife are very friendly people. I would highly recommend this place if anyone wants to explore fujian style food!!!

Fang's Wok - one side of the menu shows standard Asian fare, the other shows Fujianese dishes that are lighter & slightly sweet. - cucumber with pig ear: never had that combo before, the pig ear takes on the flavor of the cucumber marinade - steamed whole fish - pork with rice noodle - water spinach - egg tofu with bok choy & mushroom: no tofu, it's the egg texture & consistency that's like silken tofu Great service - owner was very sweet & patiently introduced menu items & checked up on everything. Located in the former Bull Daddy Noodle in Plano.

My office group went for lunch. There were five of us and we were feeling adventurous and wanted to try a place we had not been to before. It was a lovely lunch and our server was very kind to answer our questions and made several recommendations. I ordered orange chicken and egg drop soup. The soup was nice and hot and flavorful- exactly what I was looking for on the cold Monday. My colleague got the hot and sour soup and said it was the best he ever had (not too sour as some tend to be). The server said the orange chicken could be spicy or not spicy. I asked for spicy and it was not terribly spicy, however, it was yummy. Even the fortune cookie was good. We will be back and plan to try more of the menu. Centerpieces included cute crocheted flowers and the place was very clean.

Fantastic and authentic Fujian style Chinese cuisine! Flavorful and not overly salty. We’ve already been twice and enjoyed all the dishes. Recommend the drunken pork ribs (it’s fried, sweet and tangy), steamed fish, and salt pepper fish. The owner is friendly and service is great. Definitely give them a try!
